I spent many years working as a nurse. Emergency rooms, flight helicopters, ICU's, Forensic's, Legal you name it. However, in the past several years I started following my passion and that was to own and run a very special ranch. It's not just about breeding horses, which we have some fine horses, but it's about developing a ranch that can bring people to learn about what horses and nature has to teach us. There is so much to learn through listening to your instincts and intuition. The ranch is the place to learn that.

Here at our ranch we have mostly Appaloosas, but also Quarter Horses, and Arabians. We breed for all around type ranch horses, however we also have a very special cutting stud, DK Smartmate. In addition to all the horses, babies, and moms, we raise good all natural beef. The llamas are our token fun to look at creatures. But they do provide great protection for the calves as well. Then we have the barn cats, indoor cats, dogs, turtles. We don't count the ala naturale creatures on the ranch too. My older son works at the ranch helping me stay sane with all the chores. Then our daughter Rachel is my eat, drink, sleep horse girl. Her accomplishements with horses are far too many to name and she is just getting started.

My husband is on the road a lot. I wanted to get involved with this company for several reasons. One, to create income to help support the overhead here. Two, provide good nutrition supplements to my family since I am so very buzy, and three because as I am teaching others here at the ranch about good natural care and health for thier horses, I can also show them about these products.

I find it interesting that so many folks will find natural and healthy items for thier horses, but put themselves last. I am finding more and more great natural products to take care of both, the human and the horse.
